Target Groups — Sometimes, several tactical targets are connected in the same position. I call this a target group. You may be able to exploit the group by using tactical themes to change how the targets relate to each other.
1. Qh8+ attracts the Black king to h8, then 1… Kxh8 2. Nxf7+ forks the Black king and queen.
When we spot a cluster of targets, we can explore ways to exploit them using tactical motifs.
