True, 2. Nd4 is a killer. I’m like Fischer, I never mind about my opponent moves.

I saw 1 …Bf8 moving the bishop to a more active diagonal, or 1 …Qe7 taking more control over the open file. But never 1 …g4 kicking the white knight away from the center. I failed this one.

1… Qe7 2.Nd4 seems uncomfortable for black due to the pin. It’s usually not a good idea to move your queen onto the same file as an enemy rook.
